Do you have a topic of interest you wish to have The Teacher Educator publish as a themed issue? Submit your proposal to the editors at tte@bsu.edu.
We are currently seeking submissions for forthcoming issues that include the following three sections.
Research Articles
Qualitative and quantitative manuscripts presenting original research on practices or policies related to teacher education, teacher preparation, or professional development. Adherence to standard APA formatting for the presentation of empirical studies is expected with an anticipated page limit of 25-35 pages.
Promising Practices
Original presentations of institutional policies or instructional practices that provide meaningful advancements in the processes of preparing future teachers or promoting the professional development of practicing teachers. Conceptual reviews of policies and practices relevant to teacher preparation that encourage dialogue in the field of teacher education will also be considered. These brief articles (10-15 pages) must connect the targeted strategy or practice to a theoretical base and provide explicit discussion that promotes generalization to the field.
Open Forum
The editors invite original book reviews, publishable interviews with leading scholars, and similar contributions. Contact one of the editors with your proposed contributions for guidance.
See Manuscript Guidelines for specific requirements on submitting a manuscript for publication consideration.
If you have any questions, contact Co-editors Jerrell Cassady and Laurie Mullen at tte@bsu.edu.
