The Student Center is the place on campus where students, faculty and staff can meet on common ground.  Opportunities abound for involvement with various boards, committees, and the 20 student organizations that call the Student Center home.  Students have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills while providing cultural, social, and recreational programs utilizing knowledge gained in the classroom.

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)

The Plus System (Ball State Credit Union) is located on the first level adjacent to the north patio entrance of the Student Center. 

Barbershop

Located on the lower level.  The barbershop specializes in fashionable men's hairstyles at affordable prices.  Appointments are not necessary. 

Campus Information Center

The Campus Information Center is a source directory of information for Ball State students, faculty, and departments.  The Information Center houses many reference materials from maps to zip code directories and the building's lost and found.  In addition, this service features a stamp machine, two copy machines, and campus telephones.

Cardinal Crossing Food Court

The Food Court offers several varieties of dining options for faculty, staff, and students.  Students may use their Residence Hall Meal Plan in the food court. 

Computer Lab

The Student Center computer lab, located in the lower level, has Macintosh and PC machines along with a terminal for the visually impaired.  A wide range of software and scanning capabilities are available. 

Cardinal Lanes

Cardinal Lanes is open year-round for the enjoyment of everyone.  Facilities include bowling lanes with computerized scoring and billiard tables. Cardinal Lanes may be reserved for group functions.  Located on the lower level.

Hotel

The Student Center Hotel is one of the finest facilities on campus providing year-round service, and is the most convenient place for visitors and student's families to stay.  There are 24 comfortably furnished rooms and a spacious hospitality suite.  Free parking, air conditioning, cable television and private security entrances are features that make the accommodations attractive to guests.  The hotel is located on the third level.

Meeting Rooms

The Student Center has more than 20 meeting and conference rooms available to faculty, staff, students and guests.  Use of the rooms is free to on-campus organizations and departments.  Meetings and conferences with off-campus participants may be subject to rental charges.  For more information call (765) 285-1850.

Post Office

Located on the first floor adjacent to the south entrance. Letters and packages can be mailed, stamps purchased, and other services are available.

StudentCenterAdministration Office

The Student Center administration office houses the office of the Director of the Student Center and Programs, and the Reservations office.  The Administrative office is located on the first level.

University Banquet and Catering

A banquet consultant will assist your organization in planning for any event while keeping the budget in mind.  UBC offers sandwiches, meat and cheese trays, relishes and dips, fruit trays, chips, cookies, cakes, and punch along with fully catered meals.  UBC is located on the second level.
