Multicultural Center
The Multicultural Center (MC) assists African-American, Asian-American, Latino, and Native-American students in reaching their educational goals.  Through educational, social, and cultural programs, MC seeks to meet the specific needs of students of color and to promote an appreciation for cultural diversity throughout the campus. 

The Multicultural Center sponsors an Annual Award Ceremony, Welcome Back Picnic, Perspectives, and the EXCEL Mentor Program.

Programs sponsored by the Multicultural Center provide opportunities for students to interact with faculty, staff, administrators, and student groups across campus. 

MC is located n a three-story structure, which houses:

1) Malcolm X Memorial Library with books and videotapes of, for, or about 
    people of color;

2) Harry Watkins Conference Room,

3) Lounge area with TV, VCR, magazines and computer lab.
