The Adaptive Computer Technology (ACT) program provides equal access to computing services to all persons with disabilities at Ball State University. This is accomplished through direct education of students as well as faculty development efforts, which are aimed towards making course work accessible for disable students. The program provides reasonable accommodations for students, faculty, and staff. The ACT program offers a wide array of equipment and supportive services by enhancing existing academic and computing facilities. This is done in accordance with the University mission, Computing Services mission, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
