During her undergraduate career, she was elected to Mu Phi Epsilon, and she has remained active in the fraternity throughout her career. As a member of Actor’s Equity, she performed with national touring companies of The Music Man, My Fair Lady, and Applause in addition to performances in summer stock on Cape Cod. She has appeared with the Delaware County Opera Association and has been a frequent soloist with Masterworks Chorale. She also served as a cantor at the Temple Beth-el in Muncie, Indiana, from 1981 to 1995. Kocoshis has been teaching voice and piano privately since 1991 and joined the faculty of Ball State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance as a vocal coach in 2000 after a year of accompanying for the School of Music. Her students have appeared in opera and cabaret nationally, and she has appeared with them as an accompanist at Vera Mae’s in Muncie, as well as performances in Indianapolis and Chicago. In New York in March 2002, she accompanied the Twenty-Four Italian Songs and Arias in Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall. She was the musical director of the Festival of Trees fund-raising project for Ball Memorial Hospital. She is married and the mother of three children. FALL 2008 Courses:
