VHS VIDEO AUDITION GUIDELINES
1. Only students who are unable to attend any of the three audition dates or who cannot visit the campus at another time may submit a video tape.2. Use a VHS, one half inch standard video tape. If possible, use an external microphone plugged into the VHS camera (this is standard on all VHS cameras). Place the microphone approximately one foot from you (do not worry if the microphone is in the shoot).
3. Film with one stationary camera which shows the entire body. At the beginning of the audition, use a close-up. Tell us your name, the name of your selections and character, and the name of your song.

5. If you ahve formal dance training, you may choose to prepare and tape a one (1) minute dance piece.
6. All video tapes must be received by March 1, 2007.
PLEASE NOTE: VIDEO AUDITIONS ARE NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS A LIVE IN-PERSON AUDITION.
