MUSICAL THEATRE OPTION

DVD AUDITION GUIDELINES

1. Only students who are unable to attend any of the three BSU audition dates or Unified Auditions may submit a DVD recording of performances.
2. Film with one stationary camera which shows the entire body.  At the beginning of the audition, use a close-up.  Tell us your name, the name of your selection and character, and the name of your song.
3. See Musical Theatre Option audition/interview guidelines for information on singing/acting requirements.
4. Please prepare and record a one (1) minute dance piece OR if you have record of dance/movement within a show, include this performance on the DVD.
5. All DVDs must be received by February 27, 2010.

PLEASE NOTE:  DVD AUDITIONS ARE NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS A LIVE IN-PERSON AUDITIONS and we highly encourage all applicants to audition in person at any of our sites.
