Ball State's Chicago Showcase provides an extraordinary opportunity to see recent alumni and this year's graduating class from the Department of Theatre and Dance in time for 2009-10 season auditions. This showcase will feature some of the best young acting and musical theatre talent in the Midwest.

This new offering is under the direction of Karen Kessler and Drew Vidal with musical direction by Jodi Cotton White. Erica Daniels, casting director of Steppenwolf Theatre--which has produced such luminaries as John Malkovich, Joan Allen, and Gary Sinise--will act as casting consultant for her fifth consecutive year.

Home to internationally recognized theatres such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, and Second City plus innumerable storefront theatres, commercial and voiceover work, and the occasional film or television series, Chicago is a viable option for young actors eager to begin a career in acting.
