Diagnostic Electives (4 Credit Hours):
- The musical theatre faculty will assign students 4 credit hours from courses in dance, music, and/or theatre. The courses are selected to develop areas in which the student needs additional training.
Musical Theatre Option students are selected for this option only by audition. In addition, Musical Theatre Option students must pass a voice jury at the end of each semester and a yearly departmental jury. Seniors not participating in a Showcase will be required to perform in an exit jury during the senior year to complete the option. Students failing to pass a jury at the end of each semester are considered on probationary status for the option; those failing to pass a jury at the end of the succeding semester will be dropped from the option.
