The faculty of Ball State University's Department of Theatre and Dance believe that guest artists are essential to the training of theatre students.The numerous guest artists who have visited the campus include the following:

• Richard Schechner (director and theorist)
• Jane Brody (casting director and acting teacher)
• Marsha Norman (playwright)
• Jeff Corey (veteran film actor and teacher)
• Moises Kaufman (playwright/director)
• Stephanie Klapper (casting director)
• Erica Daniels (Steppenwolf Theatre casting director)
• Shanga Parker (director) 

Other professional stage managers and theatre administrators also have been guest artists in our program.
