The Department of Theatre and Dance would like to invite all our our alumni to campus, as we welcome back four distinguished graduates who have achieved success in the industry of flim and television! On Saturday, November 14th at 7:30pm, the Department's production of Noises Off will be a special Alumni Performance. This production (which was last performed on campus in 1997 under the direction of Emeriti faculty member, Dr. Gilbert Bloom) will be followed by an alumni reception at the home of Department Chair, Bill Jenkins.

This event will be an excellent chance for our alumni to re-connect with old friends, take in the substantial changes within the Department of Theatre and Dance, and to see four alumni who are returning to campus that weekend for workshops with students. Eric Emery (Class of 1994/Agent with Abrams Artists in Los Angeles), Billy Murphy (Class of 2001/Director of Casting, ABC Studios/ABC Television), Scott Halberstadt (Class of 2001/Commercial and Film Actor in Los Angeles), and Ryan Woodle (Class of 2002/Film and Television Actor in New York) will share their knowledge with current students regarding the worlds of film and television on Sunday, November 15th and Monday, November 16th. We are thrilled that they will be returning to campus and hope that you will do the same!

Workshop Schedule:

Workshop #1-Improvisation Workshop with Ryan and Scott-Carmichael Hall-Sunday, November 13th from 11am-2pm
Workshop #2-So you are thinking about becoming a Casting Director/Agent-AC 312-Sunday, November 13th from 11am-2pm
Workshop #3-Q and A with Eric, Billy, Scott and Ryan (the entire Department is encouraged to attend. All AO and MTO students are expected to attend.)-Sunday, November 15th from 7pm-11pm
Workshop #4-Auditioning for Camera Workshop with Scott and Ryan-Strother Theatre (The entire Department is encouraged to attend. All AO and MTO students are expected to attend.)-Monday, November 16th from 7pm-11pm.
