The Office of Academic Research and Sponsored Programs (OARSP) provides extensive information for faculty seeking internal or external funding for educational projects, including many supported by the Teleplex. Anyone interested in marketing materials that have been, even in part, developed by university personnel should contact OARSP.

 

 

Copyright Information

Copyrights can be a major concern when using commercially available materials in your courses. The University Libraries Copyright Center offers information regarding copyrights in education and assistance securing copyright clearance.

Distance Education

The Distance Education Program offers technology assistance to instructors and students involved in that program. Distance Educations Web site offers help for the Blackboard course management system, video streaming, and hardware/software problems.

 

 

Faculty & Staff Assistance

Faculty and staff may seek assistance and advice from Teleplex personnel via telephone, email or office visits, at any time. Many projects require expertise or services offered by other departments, however: a guide to commonly requested information follows.

 

 

Scheduling Labs

Although the VIA, VIA II, AB, AC and AJ Graphics are managed by Teleplex personnel, scheduling services for those labs is provided by University Computing Services. To book a graphics lab, contact Melissa Sorrell, Assistant Coordinator of the UCS Labs, at 765-285-5234 or, via email, at masorrell@bsu.edu.
