Equipment and Projectionist Services offers audiovisual equipment to Ball State faculty, staff, and students.  We provide media support for classrooms, by delivering, setting-up and operating media equipment; and delivering materials to faculty and staff throughout the Ball State campus. 

 

Additional services include:

  • Pick up and delivery of Library  DVDs
  • Assistance with classroom equipment setup and operation
  • Check out and delivery of audio visual equipment
    • VHS, SVHS, PAL, Video Floppy, DVD and Laser playback units
    • Television monitors
    • Combination VHS/monitor playback units
    • LCD panels
    • Video data to NTSC scan converters
    • Laptop computers both PC an MAC
    • External Zip drives
    • Digital still cameras
    • Portable overhead transparency projectors, 16 mm and opaque projectors, video and data projectors
    • 35 mm slide projectors, caramates, and programmers
    • Audio cassette players
    • CD players
    • Microphones and audio mixer
    • Public address systems with speakers and amplifier
    • Easels and flip chart

Who may check-out equipment: 

Faculty, staff, graduate and doctoral students may checkout equipment for a period of 3-5 days. Undergraduate students may checkout equipment for 3 days. Undergraduate students must obtain permission from a faculty or staff member to check out computers, data projectors, or digital cameras. Permissions can be in written or email form, by phone, or secured by students bringing faculty ID s in with them.

A variety of equipment is available including: laptop computers (both IBM and MAC), data projectors, slide projectors, digital cameras, zip drives, dvd players, vhs players, 35mm projectors, cd players, screens, audio cassette players, monitors, overheads projectors, carts and much more.
