Teleplex professionals work as a one-on-one team with Ball State University faculty members to coordinate the development and delivery of Indiana Academy High School and Ball State University undergraduate and graduate courses via the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunications System (IHETS).

Faculty are guided through a process which helps them develop video support modules, multimedia modules, and computer graphics modules for all delivery modes (IHETS, VIS, and traditional). Instructors work with an Instructional Designer, Graphic Artist, and a Producer/Director to develop and implement the production of visual materials to enhance the delivery of their televised courses. Instructors also work closely with the Ball State University School of Extended Education and University Libraries. The development and delivery process is coordinated through the Teleplex Distance Learning area located in the E. F. Ball Communication Building, Room 179.

Other Services include:

  • Digital archive of all live BSU and Indiana Academy distance education courses.
