Your local source for classical music and NPR News, Indiana Public Radio has been providing public radio service to east central Indiana communities since 1960. WBST-FM, the flagship station of the network, operates from studios at Ball State University, serving WBSB 89.5FM/Anderson, WBSJ 91.1FM/Portland, WBSW 90.9FM/Marion, and WBSH 91.7FM/Hagerstown-New Castle.

 

With its network of five transmitters and a signal that reaches into 11 counties, Indiana Public Radio (IPR) offers classical music programming, national and international news from NPR News, and award-winning local news from IPR News.

WIPB-TV
A Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) affiliate station, WIPB-TV is licensed to Ball State University and serves nearly 400,000 households, covering a 15-county region, in east central Indiana and western Ohio. In public service since 1971, WIPB-TV is housed in a state-of-the-art facility on the Ball State campus.

In addition to broadcasting award-winning national and local programs of exemplary quality, WIPB serves the public through its educational outreach services, offering free resources and training to early childcare providers and parents. WIPB also offers a full line of video production services for educational and commercial purposes.
