A. Microsoft Office (not Microsoft WORKS!) is the University standard for:
- word processing
- spreadsheet
- database
- presentation
- publishing
Microsoft Office, for both MAC and Windows, is available to registered students and can be purchased at the Technology Showcase located in Robert Bell, room 134B.
The Showcase offers significant educational discounts on other Microsoft products, as well as other venders, including Adobe and Macromedia, so check their prices before purchasing elsewhere.
For antivirus software, it is recommend that you use the software that the University provides free of charge. To learn more about Symantec Antivirus and to download your free copy visit here. It is recommended that all computers on campus have Antivirus software with automatic updates turned on.
