A. Insurance is a good idea. The University does not provide insurance for student belongings that are stolen or damaged.  Parents may have a policy that provides coverage for college students in residence halls as part of a standard policy or want to add one at an additional premium. Also, students' computers can be made more secure with a security kit that cables and locks down computer components.
