Q. Is there an easy way fix a Microsoft Publisher Web site problems before publishing?A. Before you publish your Microsoft Publisher Web site use the Design Checker to find and fix potential problems. Design Checker looks for Web publishing and formatting problems.
- Go to Tools on the menu bar and click on Design Checker.
- In the Design Checker Task Pane go to Select an item to fix.
- Click the arrow next to the item that you want to fix.
- Click on Fix: ( Note that in many cases there will be no automatic fix.)
- Click Never Run this Check Again.
- Click Explain to find help topics which fully explain the problem and give suggestions on how to fix it.
- Now, preview your Web site and run through the following check points.
- Go to File/ Web Page Preview.
Ask the Following Questions BEFORE you publish the finished web page:
Does your Web site open correctly?
Are all of the elements showing up?
Do the hyperlinks work?
Do animations and sounds work?
