How do I make Outlook my email editor?

A.  When you install Outlook 2003, Microsoft Word will be set up as your email editor.  You may find features such as Bcc, are no longer available. 

To make Outlook, not Word, your email editor:

  1. Open the Outlook Client on your Desktop (not available in webmail)
  2. Select Tools from the Menu Bar
  3. Select Options from the Drop Down List
  4. Select the Mail Format Tab at the top of the Options Window
  5. Uncheck, Use Word as my Email Editor
  6. Uncheck, Use Word to read Rich Text Messages
  7. Mouse Click OK to close the Options Window
