A. The most exciting new features are the Organizer, the eEnvelope and the Binder.
1. The Organizer is the way to organize your PDF documents. Organizer shows your files in a three panel window --a History Pane (today, this week, etc), a Files Pane ( filename and information) and the Pages Pane ( page by page). Work commands for opening the selected file, emailing it, beginning the review process or creating a document from multiple files are located conveniently above the Organizer window.
To open the Organizer choose File/Organizer/Open Organizer.
2. eEnvelope is a safe way to send confidential documents (PDF or other file formats) to coworkers for their review. The documents that you choose are encrypted into a secure envelope (you have choices on the envelope style). You can choose a password or a certificate method for security and send the eEnvelope on its way. The person receiving the eEnvelope must have permission to open it.
To use the eEnvelope feature choose Document/Security/Secure PDF Delivery.
3. Binder lets you build a collection of similar PDF files and files from other applications. This makes quick work of organizing and re-arrange the order of your files. The files which you select are processed and converted into PDF files. As an example, combine like documents, scanned pictures, text, or an Excel worksheet, into one binder. This is a nice feature for lesson plans!
To get started on your Binder choose File/Create PDF File from Multiple Documents.
