In-house instructional technologies such as Blackboard (for course management), inQsit (for building online tests and surveys) Electronic Gradebook (for communicating course grades with students and the Registrar's office), rGrade (tool to assess Teacher Ed student portfolios), Smart Board and Tablet PC for faculty are included in this technology training kit.

This kit includes training for latest hardware and communication technologies such as Scanning, Video Conferencing, Podcasting, Vodcasting, and RSS feeds.
Macintosh Applications
The Macintosh environment has made a comeback on campus. Tools such as OSX, iMovie and Entourage provide productivity opportunities for the Macintosh user. Also included in this kit is iWeb for Webpage development on the Mac, the tool selected for web page creation for TC digital portfolios.

Microsoft Office tools provide the ultimate productivity applications which includes Windows, Access, Excel, FrontPage, InfoPath, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word. These applications are available at a very low cost to the Ball State Community. With these tools keeping track of data, collaborating on documents, creating print and web publications, and communicating with others become easily accomplished tasks.

A University-wide database-driven system that is designed for easy development of a Web site. Content creation and editing is made easy through a user friendly web interface that is designed for content management any time, any place or any where.
