One way to maintain the correct formatting in an electronic document that is emailed as an attachment, is by creating a PDF (portable document format).  Creating PDF documents has just become easier at BSU with ePrint.

PC (Windows) Users 

To create PDF documents, ePrint is for all students, faculty, and staff to download to their personal computer and is also available on all University Lab Windows computers.  ePrint is available for any of your applications that support printing. To create a PDF with ePrint:

  • Save the original File
  • Select File from the Menu Bar
  • Select Print
  • Select Leadtools ePrint IV from the drop down list of available printers

Macintosh (OS X) Users

Print a PDF is a built-in print driver in OS X (prior to the Tiger OS) and is available for any of your applications that support printing.  To create a PDF document on your Macintosh:

  • Save the original File
  • Select File from the Menu Bar
  • Select Print
  • At the bottom of the Print Window, mouse click the Save As PDF button or if you are using Tiger OS select an option from the PDF button at the bottom of the Print Window.
