iLocker is another data storage solution that is available for all BSU students, faculty and staff.  Your personal 2 gigabyte storage space provides you a secure area for storing and backing up important documents and files. 

You are encouraged to utilize your iLocker storage space as an alternative to floppy/ZIP disks or CDs/DVDs or Flash Drives. 

If you want to share files, there are two file sharing areas available in your iLocker account:

• Everyone in the Ball State Community (authentication is required)
• Everyone in the world who has internet access (no authentication required)

In order to utilize your iLocker storage area from a workstation off-campus, you must have access to the Internet either through a dial-up or high speed connection such as cable or DSL.
