Groups

Add Groups to Organize a BSU Gradebook Course
Adding groups to a BSU Gradebook course is a great way to organize things. Typical group names include: Test, Quiz, Homework, and Assignments.

Delete a Group
If you choose to delete a Group, remember that all assignments within that Group will be deleted.

Undelete a Deleted Group
Recover (undelete) a group that you have deleted. This will undelete the group, but not the assignments that were part of that group.

 

Managing Access to the Gradebook

Add a Student to a BSU Gradebook Class List
Add a student to a Gradebook course. This adds the student to the BSU Gradebook so that grades can be entered for them. It does not officially enroll the student in the course.

Adding a Secondary Instructor
A secondary instructor can be added to a BSU Gradebook course. This person will then have the same access as the primary instructor.

Emailing from the BSU Gradebook

Send an E-mail to a Specific Student Via the BSU Gradebook
The BSU Gradebook provides a utility that can be used to select a student (or any number of students) from a course and send them an e-mail.

View E-mails Sent to You Via the BSU Gradebook
View details about emails sent to you from within the BSU Gradebook, including the date and time sent plus the addresses of people that the message was sent to.

View E-mails You Have Sent from the BSU Gradebook
View details about emails sent from within the BSU Gradebook, including the date and time sent plus the addresses of people that the message was sent to.

Review and Analyze Gradebook Information

Generate a Report
Create a grade report for any course in the BSU Gradebook. Report can then be viewed online, printed, or placed in a spreadsheet.

View Statistics for a Gradebook Course
View statistics on any BSU Gradebook course that show what portions of the BSU Gradebook system each student has accessed (grades, email list, chat, etc). Summary charts for the course as a whole can also be viewed.
