POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
The Special Education Coordinator is responsible for working with the special education staff at the Indiana Department of Education in monitoring the compliance of Ball State sponsored charter schools with the special education requirements of federal and state special education agencies. The Coordinator works with special education staff at the Indiana Department ofEducation to assist Ball State sponsored charter schools and charter applicant groups in accessing resource materials about special education requirements necessary to establish and implement an effective special education program at the school level. BACKGROUND:
Dr. Marra holds a Doctorate of Education from Ball State University, a Masters of Science degree in Education from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science from Buffalo State College. He has over 30 years of experience advocating for children services.
