Mathematics (Middle School/Junior High)
This four-year program prepares candidates to teach mathematics in junior high/middle school through training in both the subject and its methodologies of instruction.  The program is distinctively crafted with focus and depth in junior high/middle school mathematics instruction.  The 127-hour program includes 47 hours of mathematics content, 42 hours of professional education, and 38 hours of University Common Core courses.  The introductory courses for this program are MATHS 150.  For more information, contact Department Chair Sheryl Stump, RB465, 765-285-8640, sstump@bsu.edu, or go to the Department of Mathematical Sciences Web site at www.bsu.edu/math
