Family & Consumer Sciences
This program prepares candidates to teach Family and Consumer Sciences Education at the junior high/middle and high school levels. Family and Consumer Sciences areas include child development, nutrition and foods, consumer economics, housing and interiors, interpersonal relationships, textiles and fashion technologies, wellness, adult roles and responsibilities, and orientation to life and careers. The introductory course for this program is FCSED 150 (offered fall only).
