Muncie Community Schools
The Muncie Community Schools (MCS), located in east central Indiana, has a diverse student enrollment of approximately 7,500 students. Nearly 1,100 professional and support staff employees work with students in the corporation's two high schools, two middle schools, 10 elementary schools, vocational school, and alternate education program in a residential facility for troubled youth.

The vocational school, the Muncie Area Career Center, provides vocational education for more than 300 students from 12 regional high schools. An Adult/Basic Education (1,100 students) program is provided throughout the region and at the Muncie Area Career Center. MCS also serves as the LEA for the Delaware-Blackford County Special Education Cooperative providing services to more than 3,600 students (1,900 in Muncie).

Ball State is partnering with the two high schools—Muncie Central and Muncie Southside—for the Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellowships.
