William Jennings Casey Transition to Teaching Scholarship
Purpose:  The purpose of the William Jennings Casey Scholarship is to provide ongoing support of the activities related to students who enroll in the Transition to Teaching Program.  The scholarship was established in the memory of William Casey, a Ball State University graduate in 1953, whose career in education spanned forty-eight years.

Eligibility:  Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and enroll in the elementary education Transition to Teaching Program.

Deadline:  Deadline for submitting applications for either fall or spring semester is mid-January, with other Transition to Teaching application materials.

Award:  $500 scholarship to be awarded to one student each in the fall and spring semester.
