Bernard McKenzie, George W. Culberson,
and Robert M. Hoffer

Bernard McKenzie, superintendent of Marion Community Schools and president of the Teachers College Alumni Association, received one of three 1969 Ball State University Distinguished Alumni Awards on October 11 during Homecoming. Dr. Dean Speicher of Highland, president of the Ball State Alumni Association, made the presentation.

McKenzie received both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Ball State. During his undergraduate days he was president of both his freshman and senior class. He also has been president of the Ball State Alumni Association.

George W. Culberson, U.S. Department of Justice, is the recipient of the Ball State University Distinguished Alumni Award. He received his bachelor's degree from Ball Teachers College in 1927.

Robert M. Hoffer received a 1969 Ball State University Distinguished Alumni Award. He is president of the Wisconsin Gas Company. Hoffer received his B.S. from Ball State Teachers College in 1948.
