A Coordinated Approach to School Wellness

June 22-25 (M-Th); June 29-July 1 (M-W), 12:30-6 p.m.
Scope: This workshop will provide current and future school personnel with an introduction to the Coordinated School Health Program, and mandated wellness policy and coordinated school health advisory council requirements.  Participants will examine model programs, strategies for becoming actively involved in local wellness initiatives, and explore how these programs/initiatives can facilitate school wellness through environmental change.  This course will count for credits toward licensure in school health, as well as meet the requirements for HSC 363/563.
