As you know, every two weeks the British Pound equivalent of US$400 will be made available to you for your food allowance. You will access it through your personal account in the Ball State Federal Credit union.
Therefore, everyone who goes on the London Centre program is required to apply for a BSFCU account. To apply for this account, contact or set up an appointment with Chris Poland or Michelle Reynolds at the Credit Union. Call (765) 741-2728. ext. 203 for Chris; ext. 241 for Michelle. Every two weeks, the university will deposit your food allowance into your credit union account. Also, you or your family can add money into the account for whatever reason, and you can draw from it at any time. To reiterate, make sure you set up an account at the Ball State Federal Credit Union; and, when you receive your five-digit account number, please e-mail that number to Carol Block at the Rinker Center for International Programs.
