Financial Aid

Step 1:

Talk to your parents or guardians about participating in an international program. Be sure to talk about how much they are willing to assist you financially.

Step 2:

Talk to the program coordinator for your program to obtain a budget sheet outlining program costs.

Types of Financial Aid

In addition to the sources below, many sources are listed in reference books on grants, scholarships, and other financial assistance which may be obtained through Bracken Library or through the Center for International Programs. Enrollment in a study abroad program approved for credit may be considered enrollment at Ball State University for the purpose of applying for Title IV assistance.

If you are already receiving financial aid, it can usually be applied to study abroad programs. If you are not currently receiving financial aid, it is still to your advantage to talk with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and explore what special options you may have.
