Summer Semester Orientation (for first time freshmen starting in May or June 2008)

Fall Semester Orientation "Summer Orientation" (for first time freshmen starting in August 2008.)  On April 7, the Office of Orientation will mail orientation invitation letters to all incoming students who have paid their $100 enrollment confirmation with the Admissions Office.  This letter will give students our web site to go to along with a username and pin number (not your BSU ID number) to use so they can go online and choose their date.  Once they have chosen a date, they cannot change it unless they call the office.  You can view the available dates more than once but once you chose a date and hit the confirm button, you cannot change it online.  Dates are on a first come, first serve basis.  If you view the available dates and wait a couple of days to select a program, that 2 day program might be closed and not show up as an option.  We will mail these invitation letters weekly through June and then they will be mailed every other day until orientation is over.  Once students have chosen their date, they will receive a confirmation packet within 10 business days that will include a campus map and parking pass.  We will offer 22, 2 day sessions between June 2 - July 10.   Dates can be selected around family vacations, camps, sporting events, etc.  Students will not be excused from orientation for work related reasons, sporting events, vacations, etc.
