Yes.  Family members are encouraged to attend.  Family member orientation is designed specifically for parents, guardians, and spouses of new students.  No programming exists for children. 

On day one, family members will attend information sessions with your student.  On day two, there are special sessions for family members.  The second day begins with a continental breakfast hosted by Ball State Faculty.  Other sessions for family members on day two are Challenge of Change, College 101: The Real Story, and Student Panel: Questions and Answers.
