The Women’s Center was designed to meet those health needs unique to the female student population at Ball State.

The Center offers routine health screening including PAP smears, breast exams and contraception services. It provides evaluation, treatment, education and counseling for a variety of women’s health problems including but not limited to breast lumps, PMS, menstrual problems, menopause, cancer, vaginal infections, sexually transmitted infections, abnormal PAP smears, and mental health issues, with ready access to referral sources if necessary.

The staff encourages female students to learn everything possible to be responsible and healthy in their lives. It emphasizes wellness promotion and disease prevention in a caring, confidential, and non-judgmental environment.

The Women’s Center is open 8 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday Thursday and Friday during fall and spring semesters, and 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Women’s Center sees patients by appointment.  If you have questions, please call (765)285-8035.
