Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)

The MCAT assesses mastery of basic concepts in biology, chemistry (general and organic), and physics; facility with scientific problem solving and critical thinking; and writing skills.  The goal of the MCAT is to help admission committees predict which of their applicants will be successful in medical school.  This assessment is administered here on the Ball State University campus at specified dates/times throughout the year.

TEST PREP:

Study guides are available for purchase in bookstores or may be found in your local public library.

You may schedule computer-based practice for the MCAT in the Counseling Center Resource Room (Lucina Hall, Room 310-C). Contact the Counseling Center receptionist at (765) 285-1736 to reserve a computer or stop by the resource room.
