Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

The LSAT is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all 199 LSAC-member school.  It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants.  This assessment is administered here on the Ball State University campus approximately three times throughout each year.

REGISTRATION:  Request a registration bulletin via the official web site or by calling our office at (765) 285-1290.  Keep in mind that registration deadlines are typically a month prior to the test date.

ADMINISTRATION TYPE:  Paper-and-Pencil

TEST PREP:

Study guides are available for purchase in bookstores or may be found in your local public library.

You may schedule computer-based practice for the LSAT in the Counseling Center Resource Room (Lucina Hall, Room 310-C). Contact the Counseling Center receptionist at (765) 285-1736 to reserve a computer or stop by the resource room.
