Professional Interests and Supervision Model
University of Kentucky (Counseling Psychology) (1999). Licensed Psychologist;, HSPP, Associate Director/Training

Professional Interests: Feminist therapy; Eating disorders; Women?s issues; Diversity issues; LBGT issues; Gestalt therapy; Supervision and training.

Supervision Model: My supervision model is a blend of developmental, process and feminist approaches. I emphasize the supervisee?s feelings and reactions to clients and client issues and use the supervision sessions to process them. Supervisees are encouraged to recognize how the awarenesses brought out in supervision can be used therapeutically with clients. I gently challenge supervisees to pay attention to and develop their own therapeutic style and theoretical orientation. Other areas discussed in supervision include professional development and client conceptualization.
