Licensed Psychologist, HSPP. Assistant Director/Training Professional Interests: Coordinator of doctoral practicum training, Depression; Anxiety; Sports psychology; Trauma and sexual abuse survivor issues; Men's issues; Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual issues. Supervision Model: My supervision model is an integration of humanistic, developmental, experiential, and process approaches. I am attuned to the changing needs of supervisees as they develop as therapists and as human beings. Responsive to these needs, I take on various roles including those of mentor, consultant, counselor, and colleague. In exploring client concerns, the focus tends to be on case conceptualization, treatment issues, and techniques. Process concerns typically include emotional reactions, multicultural understanding, learning to trust one’s intuition, and personal issues which may affect clinical work. Supervisees will be supported in the development of their own therapeutic style while being encouraged to explore alternative approaches to facilitating client change. |
