Charlie is glad to hear of your interest in the groups at the Counseling Center and is happy to say that there will be an eating disorder/body image group running this summer! The group is called "Weight Not Want Not." I talked with my friends at the Counseling Center and they said that if you are interested you can call and set up an appointment for a screening to see if this is the appropriate group for you and if you are appropriate for the group. If no appointments are available you can ask to speak to one of the current leaders of the group, Kasee Matters, and she may be able to find a time to meet with you before the semester ends. To set up an appointment call 285-1736 or come into the Counseling Center on the third floor of Lucina Hall. You can also wait until the beginning of first summer session to come in for a screening.

There is currently no proposed schedule for other groups that will be running over the summer but there should soon be a list available. You could call the Counseling Center the beginning of summer session to learn about what groups will be offered and get more information then. Charlie hopes this information is helpful and that you will find what you are looking for through the group program at the Counseling Center.
