Business Fellows
Information for Reporters
Through this hands-on, team-based experience students gain practical experience in their career field; develop skills employers want; increase their marketability; expand their network with Indiana employers, alumni, faculty, and other students; connect with job opportunities in Indiana; and earn money. The Business Fellows program is open to all Ball State juniors, seniors, and graduate students.

Benefits for Both Students and Indiana Organizations
Because the program focuses on Indiana businesses, community agencies, and other organizations, students have the opportunity to build relationships with alumni and friends who are also employers in the state. Communities may reap direct economic benefits from the projects; in addition, they gain indirect benefits from outcomes that address such local quality of life issues as education and health care.

Partnerships with Indiana businesses and industries will create new opportunities for employment for Ball State graduates through contact with the business community, experience in the workforce, direct problem-solving experiences, exposure to the network of business contacts, and the demonstration of the abilities of the students.

The links on the right side of this page provide more information about student professional development training, pictures from previous projects, archives of past projects, information about new projects, and information for reporters.
