The Career Center coordinates all on-campus student employment at Ball State University, verifying students' eligibility to work in the United States and on campus. Students also complete their income tax forms at the Career Center. Once we have referred a student for a position, you will know that that student can work on campus.
We do not screen candidates based on skills, experience, or knowledge; that responsibility rests with the hiring department.
All federal and state employment laws and university employment guidelines apply to student employment.
Student Employment Procedures
