Welcome to Ball State Young Professionals!

According to Next Generation Consulting, young professionals groups (YPGs) are forming across the country for two reasons: to help YPs connect with one another and to help YPs connect with their communities. The mission of Ball State University Young Professionals (BSUYP) is to provide opportunities for students to develop and demonstrate the professional skills necessary for success in today's workplace.

Membership in this select group has its benefits. Among them are

Special rewards and recognition for students who successfully complete phases of the program;
Occasions to successfully demonstrate an understanding of or the application of vital skills (and have something to talk about during interviews);
Program planning opportunities as members help plan and implement the types of events offered to the group and the campus community;
Possibilities to consult for the BSU Career Center;
Relationships with other young professionals who value career success and civic engagement; and
Opportunities to build networks with organizations and employers.
