Advertising and Public Relations
The American Marketing Association defines advertising as "the paid, nonpersonal presentation of goods, services, and ideas by an identified sponsor."  Those working in the advertising industry use mass media, television, newspapers, etc., to achieve results.  Advertising majors may work for any employers with products, services, or ideas to promote, however most job opportunities in the advertising business can be found within advertising agencies.
