Anthropology
Anthropologists study the origin and the physical, social and cultural development and behavior of humans.  They may study the way of life, archaeological remains, language, or physical characteristics of people across the globe.  Anthropologists usually specialize in sociocultural anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, or biological-physical anthropology.  Anthropology majors find work in museums and zoos and public educational institutions.  They also work in social service agencies, ethnic and cultural organizations, elementary and secondary schools, health-care agencies, advertising, international business, economic development, and forensic analysis.

The following occupations represent some career opportunities available to anthropology majors.  Some will require additional education.  For more information visit the Career and Experiential Learning Resource Lab in Lucina 235.
