Construction Management
Construction managers plan, coordinate, and supervise private and public construction projects.  Construction managers need to understand capital investments, construction techniques, labor management, and real-time project information systems to manage construction projects.  Some construction managers may own their own firms.  Others find work with government agencies, private corporations, general contractors, specialty contractors, home builders, consulting firms, real estate developers, and construction material suppliers.  The following occupations represent some career opportunities available to construction management majors.  Some will require additional education.  For more information visit the Career and Experiential Learning Resource Lab in Lucina 235.
