Chemical Technology
A degree in chemical technology prepares students to become active in the chemical industry as supervisors and research assistants.  This degree can also serve as a foundation for later studies in chemistry, biochemistry, and other related subjects.  Chemical technicians often assist researchers in testing and quality control.  Some are employed by engineering firms or government offices, while others become engineers through further study.

The following occupations represent some career opportunities available to chemical technology majors.  Some will require additional education.  For more information visit the Career and Experiential Learning Resource Lab in Lucina 235.
