New Connections
Purpose
Students on the New Connections team are developing a strategic plan that strengthens and advances Historic Landmark Foundation of Indiana (HLFI)'s current public relations efforts with multimedia content and a significant Web presence, ensuring use of both are maximized to greatest advantage.

Action
The students have traveled to all ten historic properties included in this years Top Ten Most Endangered list to take photographs of each property as well as conduct interviews of key individuals involved with the property.  In addition, team members have developed a Web design for the Top Ten Most Endangered program to be launched later this year and are conducting research on avenues that can be used to aid HLFI's public relations efforts.

Results
The team has created a fully functional brand-new Web site for the HLFI's Top Ten Most Endangered program.  The site includes virtual tours, animated graphics, galleries, video clips, and Web archives.  The team has also put together a strategic plan based on research gathered to increase HLFI's public relations efforts.
