Assessing the Spatial Characteristics of Patients for a Private Audiology Practice
Purpose
Advanced Hearing Care is a private audiology practice interested in expanding to a second location.  A geographic information system (GIS) analysis of the patient database and the regional demographics is required to analyze the feasibility of this expansion and to determine the optimal location for the second facility.

Action
The project team was responsible for address matching, mapping the patient data, and performing GIS analyses to determine the spatial locations of the target demographic groups.  The team also developed an analysis of potential office sites and spatial marketing recommendations.

Results
The project team created a report with GIS maps, analyses, and marketing recommendations.  They also developed large plots for the client to use for subsequent analyses.
