SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Ball State students have a rich tradition of giving back to the Ball State, Muncie and Delaware County communities.  By participating in Student Voluntary Services, Alternative Breaks, Weeks of Action, or by becoming involved civically, students will positively contribute to their communities while increasing their awareness of social issues.

Alternative Breaks  - These are short-term, intensive service experiences that offer a wide range of activities for students to participate in that foster service-focused civic engagement on a local, national, and global level.

Student Voluntary Services - SVS provides students with educationally valuable experiences through community service.

Week of Action - In order to encourage students to make their voice heard, the office of Student Life sponsors Weeks of Action.  During designated weeks, students will be encouraged to register to vote, talk to community members, and write their state representatives on issues that are important to them.
